Here on business, the staff here were really helpful as my co-worker and I arrived at 10pm and had no reservation. We were found rooms swiftly and were asleep in no time! Great spot to choose if your passing from or to the North West Territories.
The reasons we chose this location is because of the waterslide and pool. This would allow the children to burn off some energy after 7 hours of driving. On our outbound trip, 25 Aug the pool was closed because "someone had let their dogs swim in the pool and it needed cleaning". Our return trip 31 Aug, the pool is STILL closed for the same reason. twice now the children have been disappointed. 6 days closed and still not clean, unacceptable!
I had a wonderful stay at the Super 8. A great room which was clean and just the right temp. A swimming pool (with slide). And a delicious breakfast (I appreciated the bagels. The apples weren't the best though) All in all you'll have a great stay at this hotel.
The rooms were clean and well attended to. The only downside was that I could hear the bathroom next door. I liked that the kitchen in our room had a little kitchenette with a microwave, coffee maker, fridge and kitchen sink. There was enough storage space for everyone as well.
Nice spot. They have a really neat waterslide and a nice hot tub. Only problem was, we couldn't go in them. It wasn't really there fault, but it still sucked as that was partially the reason we picked the place. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast in the morning wasn't too varied, but was yummy.
