Probably the prettiest hotel in High Level as far as architecture is concerned - the lounge in particular is a pretty cool structure. Decor is a bit dated but so is everything else in High Level, so no complaint there. Nice, spacious parking lot too - easy to navigate with a big truck. Good service by staff, really good food in the restaurant, acceptable hot continental breakfast offering (about as good as it gets in small-town Alberta).Room TV had working HDMI ports so I was able to plug in my laptop and watch Netflix, which is better than suffering the usual hotel cable channels. Bed was average for this price of hotel.Hotel is located between a highway and a gravel yard, so there's a lot of heavy vehicle traffic noise throughout the day. Not an easy place to take an afternoon nap. Noise levels were acceptable after dark.The Esso service station down the street is nice and close and has a great lineup of snacks, drinks, ice cream, and deli-style meals if you're looking for something a little less fancy than what the hotel restaurant offers. Very handy place to have almost next door.
The staff was very welcoming and the rooms were very clean and tidy! There are a lot of amenities that are inlcuded as well, such as a really nice pool, hot tub, mini waterpark and room service. 100% would recommend for families!
Great place to stay! the towels were luxurious the staff were great, the room was comfortable and I had a great sleep on that comfy bed! would definately stay again next time I'm there.Always a good breakfast.
Our reserved room had mechanical issues and wasn't available. Management quickly upgraded to an even larger room and comp'd a portion of our original cost. Best hotel if staying in High Level. Great pool facility for the kids and a hot tub to relax. Highly recommend.
A gem of a property in little Manning, Alberta, this Best Western house regularly exceeds expectations. Cleanliness, attention to detail and quality of service make this hotel well worth the few extra dollars compared to the other local budget offerings.Their restaurant/lounge, the Mirage, has great food and delightful service. Highly recommended.
